  • What is an animal chaplain?

    Animal chaplains provide support for both animals and humans by using ritual, ceremony, and the tools of spiritual companionship.🐵🐒🦍🦧 Of course I am a people chaplain too, and my code of ethics adheres to ACPE standards.

  • What services do you offer?

    Chaplaincy - trauma and grief support, especially if you work with animals or have had a recent difficult experience involving more than human life - ritual services, spiritual guidance, speaking engagements, organizational/movement ministry, and open source eco-spiritual resources. A great part of my work involves ministering to ministers and other helping professionals. I want all of you to stay in this field with me!

  • What can I expect from a session?

    Empathetic, non-judgmental, deep listening that helps reconnect you to your own sustaining purpose and meaning.

  • What is your response time? When are you going to get back to me?

    I am balancing a busy schedule with school and my work, so here’s what you can expect from me on response times:

  • What are your rates, and do you offer sliding scale pricing?

    My rates are $60/hr while I am training for certification prior to ordination. I also offer a sliding scale based on Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s Green Bottle System. Please contact me if price is an issue for you prior to booking. I never want any animals (including human animals) to go without spiritual care.

  • What is your cancellation/refund policy?

    Please cancel 48 hours in advance for a refund - no call/no shows take time from other people and animals too, so this policy is firm. However, if you’re not happy with a session we’ve completed for any reason, please email or text me within 24 hours and I will refund you.

  • Are your services confidential?

    Unless you threaten to harm yourself or others, or I am compelled by law enforcement under subpoena to assist in an investigation, yes - our sessions are entirely confidential.

  • Do you offer virtual sessions?

    Yes! We can meet locally in the Sacramento area, by phone, or via Zoom.
